FrameworX Description

Tatsoft's FrameworX is a .NET-based SCADA and IIoT platform built for engineers who need full control over industrial applications, from edge devices to enterprise systems.
AI Designer sets FrameworX apart. Using the Model Context Protocol (MCP), 18 specialized tools give AI direct, real-time access to the Designer IDE. You describe what you need and the AI configures tags, alarms, historian, devices, displays, and scripts immediately, in the same session, with no file imports or code generation. It connects natively with Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and any MCP-compatible model. Built-in domain intelligence covers ISA-95, UDTs, ISA-18.2 alarm philosophy, and historian best practices. Engineers report 2x to 10x faster configuration.
The platform includes real-time data modeling, a built-in historian, alarm management, audit trails, reports, and native scripting in C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, and Python. Over 100 native drivers cover PLCs, DCS, OPC-UA, OPC-DA, and MQTT (broker, client, and SparkplugB).
Deploy to web, mobile, or desktop with zero client installs. Every module ships included: Devices, Alarms, Historian, Reports, Security, and DevOps tools. No module licensing. No per-tag fees.
Proven in 5,000+ deployments across water, energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure.
(FrameworX was formerly known as FactoryStudio.)

Scalable Success: Delivering Quality Projects efficiently with FrameworX

    Edited: Jan 09 2026

Summary: I have used FrameworX for several years with consistently excellent results. Its scalability and open architecture make it competitive for everything from small tasks to major initiatives. It has been a key tool in helping me deliver successful projects and maintain high customer satisfaction

Positive: All-inclusive connectivity: More than 100 industrial connectors are included in the price.
Modern coding: Integrated support for modern languages like Python and C#.
Efficiency: Easy scalability, streamlined development cycles, and simple deployment.
Value: The competitive price tag leaves room in the budget to handle design challenges or commissioning costs.

Negative: Honestly, there isn’t anything I dislike. After years of use, I haven’t encountered any significant drawbacks. The platform is robust, well-designed, and consistently delivers what I need without the frustrations common in other tools.

Class Leading HMI and SCADA Software

    Date: Jan 08 2026

Summary: We’ve experienced quick and comprehensive support from the team at Tatsoft and have developed and excellent working relationship with them.

Positive: We’ve developed systems for the control of Pharmaceutical filling machines using the software from Tatsoft.
It has allowed us to Communicate with multiple PLC’s Including Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider and Omron (and there are drivers for many more).
These systems have alarm and event recording which can be stored on various Database platforms (We use SQLite or MS-SQL), which allow for encryption, reports can be generated and stored to PDF or Printed. We’ve also implemented User control, with either FrameworX Handling the user control, or connection to Active Directory via LDAP. Multiple thin Client support is simple, and is ‘IP-aware’ so functions can be limited by the IP address on the client PC.

Negative: There are no obvious deficiencies with the software, any issues are resolved quickly by support.
